In 1800 at San Patrignano to run and walk against the dependencies

Great success yesterday at the WeFree Run, the non-competitive race devoted to the community’s prevention project

Really beyond expectations the 4th edition of the WeFree Run. San Patrignano had expected a good adherence to the non-competitive race supported by Aon, Despar Eurospar, Carim, Granarolo, Kappa and Cimberio, and has really exceeded all expectations, with 500 people coming to the community to share the morning with the 1300 residents.

The enthusiasm was palpable yesterday morning in the community, with the arrival of hundreds of people not only from the neighboring area, but also from Trentino, Veneto, Lazio and many other regions. This is how the starting line was animated by the many participants who joined the residents of San Patrignano.

“We were surprised by the colliding – says Claudio Lotti, president of the sport organization of San Patrignano – For us sport is an exceptional educational tool to help our residents  and we really enjoyed sharing this moment with so many people from all over Italy . Among other things, their participation will help us continue to carry on our WeFree prevention project through which we meet 50,000 students across Italy each year. “

Among those who participated to the race on a 4 km circuit repeated three times, despite being a non-competitive one, it was actually a real race. Among the men leading from the start to the arrival was Marco Oppioli, followed by Mamadou Diouf and Alessandro Ragone. For women on the podium Livia Grazi (1st place), then Fausta Borghini and Silvia Scacchi. A race that ended with the pleasant meal in the dining hall with all the residents of the community.
