Once again this year, during the week of 14-18 March, the annual session will be held in Vienna, where member states will discuss global drug issues. Most of the sessions will take place online, with very limited participation from government delegations and civil society.
San Patrignano will as always be very active, with the proposal of a side event entitled “People in recovery and stigma. Barriers and strengths in their pathways”.The opening speech will be by the Minister of Youth Policies Fabiana Dadone, followed by the Amabascitore Namm . Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Commission for the Control of Drug Abuse (CICAD/OSA). Thanks to the support of CICAD/OAS, interpreting in English, Spanish and Italian will be available during the event.
The San Patrignano representative will participate as a speaker at two other events:
“Challenging Stigma Around Addiction & Recovery, Strrength-Based Approaches” and “Children and Families Affected by Parental Drug Use. Current Gaps and Promising Practices”
