The San Patrignano community wants to thank the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for his words of appreciation included in his message on the occasion of the twenty-sixth World Day against drugs and illicit trafficking. This important recognition by the United Nations is a further demonstration of the value of its commitment, not only in recovery from addiction, according to the principles and values of our founder Vincenzo, but also in prevention activities. Preventing drug use among youngsters is not an impossible dream: San Patrignano meets youngsters in schools, in disadvantaged areas providing them with different life models and dignity.
