The auditorium of San Patrignano was packed, on Monday evening the 1300 residents of the community attended the representation of “Guardiana”, the contemporary play written and interpreted by the poet Francesca Merloni and Gianmarco Tognazzi with the musical accompaniment of Remo Anzovino.
The show produced by Lorenzo Zichichi received the applauses of the audience and many at its end stayed with the actors on stage. The tour to San Patrignano was a “gift” to the community on the occasion of the Christmas holidays, by the producers and interpreters.
The proceeds from ticket sales will be used to finance the activities of the San Patrignano Artistic Center, an area that involves about 100 residents in a single coordination of theater, dance, music and singing workshops. Result of years of commitment to offer cultural activities that are intertwined with the recovery program from drug addiction becoming an instrument for introspection and personal growth.
