In San Patrignano there has been a technological and informational update. Thanks to the donations from Vodafone Italy, the community’s residents have been engaged in formational programs with vocational training courses, they will therefore benefit from the 20 regenerated PCs. The “new” computers will replace devices that
are now obsolete and unable to effectively support new generation software.
The San Patrignano community has always been paying particular attention to the professional training of its residents, an aspect that plays a key role in the subsequent social reintegration. Thanks to Vodafone‘s generosity there now is a renewal of means and tools that are necessary to pursue the vocational and educational goals of the community with excellence. The availability of 20 regenerated PCs is an important contribution to the development of the digital skills of the residents and their subsequent entry into the job market.
This is not the first time that Vodafone Italy supports vocational training for socially marginalized or disadvantaged people. The company’s commitment to the realization of social solidarity initiatives, in fact, is part of a large donation program, which has been active since 2002. This project has ever since, intended donations to schools, public administrations and the tertiary sector, giving beyond 2500 reconditioned business devices such as laptops, tablets and desktops.
